As Director of Communications at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, I work to create editorial content, thought leadership and digital media in support of the college’s transformational vision for education. In previous roles in higher education, I directed digital media and content strategy at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia.

I spent nearly a decade in newsrooms as a journalist, writing about everything from crime and culture to religion and ethics. Later, I transitioned into new roles as a social media editor and digital media specialist.

I am a graduate of James Madison University, where I studied journalism and political science, and Kennesaw State University, where I studied digital and social media.
